Theme Updates: Troy and Odyssey reach v1.2

Summer is well in and the sun shines (more like burns skin) here in sunny Greece. While everyone is planning on their vacations, CSSIgniter is hard at work to bring you more. No, wait… we actually try to bring you less. Less hassle, less options (but enough to keep you satisfied and do whatever you want to do) and less sweating.

That’s why we’ve released updates for Troy and Oddysey. Two out of our first four original themes got revisited and are now working as any modern (think WordPress v3.4) theme should work. If you are updating, don’t expect anything spectacular. Most changes are made under the hood. You might notice though that Featured Images are available, as well a revamped and more solid panel is at your hands. If you are watching Troy or Odyssey for the first time, just know that what you see and what you expect, is really really what you get.

A changelog for versions 1.1 (shortlived) and 1.2 for each theme is available in our support forum, so any of you existing users is upgrading and have made any customizations in the theme files, make sure to take a look at the changelog. Of course you need to backup your customization, but you already have done that, haven’t you?

Don’t go away just yet… I mean, plan your summer holidays as you’d normally do, but keep in the back of your head that more theme updates are coming.

Penelope is next.
