Here’s a preview of our upcoming WordPress music theme, Berliner. In Berliner you will find all the tools you need to build your music related website. Discography and artists management. Events. Media management (videos & photo galleries) and our fantastic music player! This will be our first theme for February. What do you think?
This message applies only to members using a theme of ours integrated with WooCommerce, namely one of the following:
- Femme v2.0 or prior
- Agora v2.0 or prior
- Intrigue v2.0 or prior
- UltraSeven v1.0 (no prior versions exist)
If you aren’t using one of the above themes there’s no need to continue reading, but if you are, please read carefully.
We might have been a bit quiet lately, but the world of WordPress is constantly evolving and we work hard to keep everything up to date, as well as providing more features and new themes. You may already know that a brand new version of WordPress is due (v3.8), and we are double-checking that our themes will work flawlessly.
Speaking of features, setting up multilingual installations is one of those things that our members seem to be doing quite often. We’ve built internationalization support into our themes since day one, by properly wrapping all text instances into gettext functions and providing the appropriate files. However, translating a theme and having a multilingual website, is a whole different story as WordPress can’t handle multilingual websites natively.
Hey everyone! Our friends at Flywheel – Premium WordPress hosting for designers – have given us a coupon code to give away. The coupon is good for a year of free hosting on their Tiny plan. If you’re a designer managing client sites, Flywheel is a great solution! They take care of speed and security so you can worry about building great websites (on CSSIgniter themes, of course) ! You can learn a bit more about Flywheel at http://getflywheel.com.
So here’s a preview from one of our two themes that will be released in December. Olympic is a fitness / gym theme for WordPress with some really cool features. Team and timetable management. Custom widgets. Super flexible. Responsive. Big slider in the homepage for your most important content. Classes management. Based on the amazing Foundation grid. Powered by our small (but powerful) theme options panel. Stay tuned.
A couple days ago Envato announced a new set of theme submission guidelines for the Themeforest marketplace; you can read them in detail here.
They are a set of rules in an effort to ensure that every theme provided by Themeforest meets a certain high quality standard, using clean code and general web development best practices. We believe it really is a great list of what to avoid and what to be careful of when you develop a WordPress theme and a website in general and Envato has done a great job in recruiting experienced authors and advisors in order to compile it.
UltraSeven is a premium eCommerce theme for WordPress that can accommodate and supercharge any store no matter its size. Although we’ve set up the demo as a high fashion designer clothing shop, UltraSeven’s clean and minimal design is appropriate enough to be used for just about any product type, be it clothes, electronics or digital goods. Heck, it’s so versatile it can even be used as a standalone magazine.
We are working hard on our upcoming themes for May and the first out of the two that we will be releasing is UltraSeven, a WooCoomerce 2.0 theme for WordPress. For a full homepage preview head over at Forrst and have a look! Let us know of what you think.
After the massive success of our 1st Pinterest-like theme for WordPress, Pinfinity, I’m pleased to announce that our 1st theme for March will be Pintorest, our 2nd Pinterest-like theme. Same functionality, different layout / color schemes and possibly WooCommerce 2.0 integration. Keep an eye on this blog as we will inform you once Pintores is up for grabs. Here’s a preview.
