WordPress’ visual editor is simple and easy to use but is far from a complete text editor. Many tools that are very useful to editors are missing, for example copy/paste buttons, adding tables, subscript and superscript buttons and more. Today’s plugin is here to help.
Once you install and activate the plugin you can configure it under Settings > TinyMCE Advanced. You will be presented with an array of buttons and drop downs which will enhance your visual editor. Most important among them is the ability to easily create, add and edit tables. Other ones include font family and size drop downs, more bullet and numbering styles on lists, search and replace functionality and more. Drag & Drop all the buttons you need on your editor in up to five bars and save.
