Many of you are familiar with Beauté, our very successful beauty theme for WordPress. After popular demand, we are happy to present you with a second premium theme built to cater the needs of spa & beauty salon owners. Say hello to Salon and let’s have a look at its features.
Custom post types
Salon features five purpose-built custom post types to help you better manage your content. You have posts specifically built to allow you to display your galleries, videos, showcase your team and promote your business’s services. Each post functions just like the normal WordPress posts you know and love, but is enhanced with added functionality and unique styling to give you the best possible experience.
We have built and included thirteen custom widgets these will help you display your services, media, personnel, posts, social media info and more, and allow you to create a site just the way you like it.
Hugely customizable homepage
The homepage of the theme consists of a very large full width slider and four widgetized areas, the footer ones that are visible throughout the site and the main front page widget area. This means that how the homepage will look is up to you. You can use our custom built widgets to display your services, media and team members in customizable row & column formations, add introductory text, callout bars and more. No pre-built homepage layouts here.
Multiple listing template layouts
All custom post type listing pages offer you multiple column layouts; you can choose between 1 to 4 columns, combined with isotope filtering and a masonry layout option as well. Additionally the gallery listing pages offer you a stapel layout option. See? There’s not much to miss.
Interested in setting up an e-shop along with your site? Look no further. Salon is compatible with WooCommerce, arguably the best and most popular e-commerce plugin for WordPress. You will be ready to sell your products and services in no time at all.
Beauté has been a huge success and a very much loved theme among our users, that’s why we believe we have to follow it up with something extraordinary, Salon.
Truly beautiful and looks very practical. You are not using the customizer for the theme settings here as in Olsen – the blogging theme. Are there any plans to use the customizer on more themes in the future? I do find your system very straightforward and easy to use, but I find my self more and more automatically opening the customizer since more and more themes use this now…
Glad to hear you like the theme!
We are planning to move to the customizer gradually, however due to settings complexity some themes might still come out with our own panel, till everything is ironed out properly.
And now with Divi builder support on both last themes, yey!
