Version 2.0 of our church WordPress theme Prayer has just been released!

Your favorite church WordPress theme, Prayer has received an overhaul! Major changes can be found both on the front-end and under the hood, styling, new features, bug-fixes, and code improvements, this version has them all! Let’s take a closer look.

Appearance & Styling

The theme’s styling has been cleaned and modernized to match new design trends while still retaining its aesthetic. The same appearance you know and love, polished around the edges.

Behind the scenes

Changes were not only cosmetic, almost every single theme file has been reviewed, refactored and updated where necessary. Obsolete libraries where removed, and old but necessary ones updated or replaced with better ones. From styles and color schemes to page templates and widgets, everything was brought up to speed with modern standards and practices.

New features

We did not stop there though, improving what was there is not enough, we wanted to give you new and useful features to make working with Prayer even more exciting.

Customizer Color Options

You will now find color options in the Customizer, allowing you to create unique color schemes for your site in no time.

Social Icons Widget

We have built into the theme a widget which allows you to display links to all your social profiles. Open up the Social tab in the Customizer, set up your social profile URLs and drag the widget to a sidebar of your choosing, that easy!

Deep Elementor Integration

Prayer now comes with three custom Elementor widgets. A slider widget which allows you to place sliders anywhere using Elementor, and two other elements, the Prayer Element which pulls all kinds of content from the theme and displays it in variable column layouts, and the Upcoming Events element which displays your upcoming events in a beautiful and clean way. Use these three custom Elementor Widgets to duplicate the layout of the theme demo’s homepage, and then take it a step further by displaying content in ways that were not possible before!
