2 years ago, We released Philoxenia, a WordPress theme for hotels and one of our most popular themes. It provided everything a hotel business owner needed but times are changing. Philoxenia was a fixed-width theme and since then we have released more hotel themes with more advanced features. It was time to give Philoxenia a special treatment.
Responsive
Philoxenia is now responsive. Based on Bootstrap (the CSS framework of choice), Philoxenia is now accessible from any device. Mobile, tablet and desktop views are now part of the theme.
The almighty CI Item widget
We have created a really flexible widget called CI Item. Philoxenia comes with 3 custom post types. Rooms, Galleries and Videos. Now you can add content to your sidebars from any of these post types (and of course the defaults, posts and pages).
Retina ready
Background images and pixel icons have been removed and replaced with font icons and CSS3 gradients making Philoxenia lighter and faster than ever! You can also upload a second logo through our options panel in order to keep those retina displays happy.
